Mystic Meg's real name is Margaret Anne Lake, and she was born on July 27, 1942, in Accrington, Lancashire, England.

Before becoming a famous astrologer and psychic, Mystic Meg worked as a newspaper journalist, writing for The Sun and other publications.

 Mystic Meg first rose to fame in 1994 when she was hired by the National Lottery to provide astrological predictions for the weekly lottery draw. Her catchphrase, "It could be you!" became famous.

Mystic Meg has also published several books on astrology, including "Mystic Meg's Astrology for Lovers," "Mystic Meg's Horoscopes," and "Mystic Meg's Lucky Numbers."

In addition to her work as an astrologer, Mystic Meg has also appeared on several television shows in the UK, including "This Morning," "Loose Women," and "Big Brother."
